How do I check the balance on my Vodafone Cash account?

It’s easy.

Dial *110# or call 110.

Select “my account” and then select “check balance”. This process is free and you can request a mini statement of your last five transactions at 0.05p.

Recently, fraudsters or scammers have been sending messages that read something like this; 

“Payment received for GHS 150.50 from INTEROPERABILITY PULL OVA Current Balance: GHS 210.50.Available balance: GHS300 Reference: 233548988504 from Vodafone. Transaction ID: 10345676856, Transaction Fee: 0.00”.

Looks real, isn’t it? 

To make it more believable, they will call you and make it seem – it was a transaction error, so kindly resend the amount. 

The only way to authenticate this kind of message is to log into your account and check your balance. 

Don’t send them anything right away, else you will be a victim of this kind of fraud. 

Some of them are true in the sense that they are real transaction errors. The only proven way to know if this is an error is to check your account balance. 

Vodafone provides various ways to check your account balance. 

You will need your Vodafone SIM card, your mobile phone and internet access (not needed for all methods) to do this process. 

CHECKING YOUR VODAFONE CASH ACCOUNT BALANCE USING SHORT CODE

  • Open your dial pad
  • Dial *110# 
  • Select “My Account” by selecting 6
  • Select “Main Balance” by selecting 1
  • Type in your PIN and your account balance pops up!

CHECKING YOUR VODAFONE CASH ACCOUNT BALANCE USING MY VODAFONE APP

  • Install my Vodafone app from play store
  • Register with your Vodafone number and set a password
  • Log in with your details
  • Navigate to the Vodafone cash section
  • Enter your pin and you will be redirected to your Vodafone cash dashboard.
  • From your dashboard, you can check your balance.

Using the Vodafone app requires internet connection, note that.

You can also request a mini statement of your last five transactions at 0.05p charge.

  • Open your dial pad

  • Select “My Account” by selecting 6
  • Select “Mini statement” 
  • Type in your PIN and your statement is ready!

Alternatively, you can use the “My Vodafone app” to request for a mini statement.

 Log into your account, navigate to the “Vodafone cash section, enter your pin and select mini statement from the dashboard.
