Who is the Biggest Liar in Ghana? [MUST READ + Evidence]

Who is the biggest liar in Ghana? Dr. Mamoud Bawumia is a politician NOT a liar. Google doesn’t determine who is the biggest liar in Ghana or any country. In fact, Google with all its might, power and algorithm cannot answer this question. This is a gimmick from politically drunk opposition bloggers and social commentators.

“Never judge someone’s character based on the words of another. Instead, study the motives behind the words of the person casting the bad judgment. An honest woman can sell tangerines all day and remain a good person until she dies, but there will always be naysayers who will try to convince you otherwise. Perhaps this woman did not give them something for free, or at a discount. Perhaps too, that she refused to stand with them when they were wrong — or just stood up for something she felt was right. And also, it could be that some bitter women are envious of her, or that she rejected the advances of some very proud men. Always trust your heart. If the Creator stood before a million men with the light of a million lamps, only a few would truly see him because the truth is already alive in their hearts. Truth can only be seen by those with truth in them. He who does not have Truth in his heart will always be blind to her.”

Who is the biggest liar in Ghana?

Stephen A. Smith

First, Dr. Bawumia isn’t the biggest liar in Ghana. As an Economist, he only speaks on matters he knows about. Of course, he is a politician and not everything he says will be exciting to his opponents.

However, for many Ghanaians, he’s one of the brightest brains in our political history and very crucial to our economic growth as a Vice President. In fact, a leading member of the opposition party in Ghana said they need someone like Dr. Bawumia in their party to keep up with the growing times of today’s “Issue-based politics”.

In fact, he had been the biggest pain of the opposition party in Ghana with his town hall ‘ted-like’ talks and technological inclination lately. Well, I don’t agree with him on many tech-related topics though, but he’s doing his best.

I love the fact that he’s bypassing a lot of the useless bureaucracies associated with state projects with a bootstrap, entrepreneurial, not-so-perfect approach to projects. for instance, the introduction of the GhanaCard, GPS Addressing System, Biometric Passport, Ports and Harbour Digitization, etc… There are other ways it could’ve been better. But good enough is better than perfect.

In startup language – we call it “Shipping quickly”. Create something usable and put it out there quickly and let the system tweak and improve it over time. I’m all for that. And I dove my heart for him for spearheading this agenda.

Of course, politicians and their cronies will always find a way to inflate figures of projects. Granted. At times, I’m tempted to believe that they don’t really have the know-how to price and cost these projects which usually leads to (we the same technocrats who complain of politicians snubbing us) overpricing projects to share the booty with our confidants. Sad.

I always say, the ordinary citizen – “You and I” are the PROBLEM.

We’ll look at his reputation and some of his innovations and achievements soon.

But hey, love him or hate him – that guy is GOOD.

Unfortunately, when you go to Google on your phone or your computer and type in “Who is the biggest liar in Ghana” you’ll see his name and picture.

And this is why.

  1. Google will in a split second scan (crawl) the internet and look for people who’ve searched for this query (question – “Who is the biggest liar in Ghana”).
  2. Same time, it will look for any content produced around this query and index it. (Arrange it)
  3. The search engine in that same split second will use the power of Artificial Intelligence to match the query with content produced around this query(question) and rank the best result it found.

How Google crawls, indexes, and ranks the best result is determined by several factors that I don’t want to bore you with today. Therefore, it is NOT surprising to see the picture of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

This is an attempt by learned people (tech-savvy young people) who’ve been blinded by politics and hatred to defame their Vice President. Human beings for you!

This is not a deliberate attempt by the search engine giant, Google to defame the Vice President, but human beings – mostly Ghanaians who don’t agree with his political views and want to use the opportunity offered by Google to destroy his reputation.

Don’t worry I’ll give you examples and how they do it.

Why should you listen to me on the topic of Who the biggest liar in Ghana is?

Well, you shouldn’t because I’m a nobody to determine whether someone is the biggest liar or not. What I know is how search engines work. And that is why you and other well-meaning Ghanaians must listen to me.

Who I’m I to talk about the topic, “Who is the Biggest Liar in Ghana?

who am i

I’m an SEO with about a decade of experience and I probably know one or two things about how to manipulate the search results to your whims and caprices.

Why I’m I interested in the biggest liar in Ghana question?

Good question.

I’m a Ghanaian and I can see how this can create and further aggravate our already divided nation. Dr. Bawumia isn’t a saint. He has his flaws just like every one of us. He has definitely made predictions and promises that haven’t seen the light of day. I agree. He’s human don’t forget that.

This is only an effort to throw dust into people’s eyes and set future agendas for religious, tribal, and political gains.

It’s politics today so nobody seems worried.

But looking at how polarized our country Ghana is today, any attempt to try this gimmick for religious or tribal gains will be a cost we’ll have to pay for a very looonnnggggg time. I know about search engines and search intent and what that can do.

In fact, there are many who believe anything you find by searching online is GOSPEL because of how Google has monopolized the search market. Many people think what you find on Google is written and verified by a Google team of engineers for accuracy, etc… That is bull. Google doesn’t create content. People do. And people can be good or bad.

Who is behind this?

I’ve read a number of blogs that have tried very hard to teach readers how Google works and explain away their hypocrisy on how the vice president’s name and the image are there but on the other hand they are doing exactly the opposite of what they are saying. That’s hypocrisy and Karma is a king on the internet. What exactly I’m I talking about? Let me explain.

For instance, just like I’m writing my views on this topic, several blogs have done the same. However, they have put the name and image of the vice president in their articles to reinforce the fact that he is the biggest liar in Ghana. It’s a trick. Shame on them.

That was what they wanted to do in the first place. Call him a liar.

Oh, Ghana politics!

Wait, I’ll give you evidence.

In the number one result as I write today for the search query “Who is the biggest liar in Ghana?”, the so-called editor is trying so hard to justify why the Vice president’s name and image appear.

The introduction of the article is very deceptive. You can judge for yourself.

Intro

He claims people have been asking their team who the biggest liar in Ghana is. Oh my brother, you know that is not true. Who in his right senses will ask a blogger who Ghana’s biggest liar is?

Again, he turns around to end the article with a DISCLAIMER, telling everybody why it’s not his fault. But look here, he links to a more demanding article on another politically motivated article on another blog with a similar tone thereby giving search engines more proof that these articles are relevant, related and should be seen as truth.

fake disclaimer

It’s called “passing link juice” in SEO. That’s another trick.

These are basic SEO practices – very easy to do but is this necessary? Have you thought about the repercussions? So, can I do the same to your father? That’s the question you should be asking yourself.

Even a more divisive and crazier one here.

Further, this same editor in another article seeking to describe the newly created regions in Ghana which received an overwhelming “YES” vote of 95%+ has this say about one of the regions. Just one!

Political

Literally blaming a political party for a region that was created by a referendum. Very misleading and unfortunate. We can’t build a better society with this attitude. Stop tribalism.

Shame on you.

Editor
I’ve blurred out their phone number for security reasons.

Unfortunately, all these blogs are relatively new and have a little authority – mostly DA 1 or 2 just like ours and I thought they would focus on creating good content that improves lives and not be politically inclined articles.

I’ve taken images because, yes – after reading this they may go back and delete this mess if they have any shame. If not, that’s also fine, we wish them well.

In fact, Google doesn’t need to clarify why Dr. Bawumia’s name shows up when you search for that query. They don’t know about it. And they don’t even need to interfere.

YOU and ME should.

Inasmuch as it’s sad to see this as a Ghanaian apart from the dopamine rush his political opponents will feel, I’m also happy in a way. In that, this will inform these same politicians like Dr. Bawumia to appreciate technology more.

The world is changing and if you don’t change with it – it’s gone.

Just imagine if the government or state security had data scientists, astute SEOs, content producers, this would have been curtailed long ago.

Today is Bawumia, tomorrow it will be your favorite.

If you’re manipulating search intent now, someone will do worse to you tomorrow.

Even worst if it’s your religion or tribe.

Come to think of how tribal bigotry is so rampant on social media today. It’s sad.

It is usually the people who don’t have the emotional capacity to take it that perpetuate it the most.

And to the people in power and authority – invest in science, technology and people. You’ll never regret it. I learned SEO and ‘how search engines work’ and I’m happy to say it offers me the freedom to do good things not bad.

Let’s continue.

Does Google determine Who is the Biggest liar in Ghana or any country?

No, Google doesn’t have the ability to do so.

Google is not a human being sitting somewhere, neither it is some group trying to set an agenda against anybody. But Google has a platform that allows anybody who has something to say to have a voice.

So if you have a question, Google goes into its database and looks for people who have created content related to your question that can answer your query.

In simple terms: Google matches search queries with available answers in their database.

Oh yes. And no.

And Google doesn’t deny this.

In fact, Google has over the years improved its search algorithm so much so that it is increasingly becoming difficult to manipulate search results. Notwithstanding, people still try it. And this “Who is the Biggest liar in Ghana” scenario is one of those.

In fact, Google doesn’t produce any of the content you see on its platform. It only curates (bring together) relevant topics about what people are saying, writing about, posting on social media, etc…

If you understand this, you now know how anybody-anywhere can easily set an agenda and if well-meaning people don’t pay attention, will represent the truth.

How Does Google Work?

It will be a big lie if I tell you I know all about how the Google algorithm works. I only know about 10% – hehehe.

Even Google engineers themselves are marveled at the complexity and complication of its algorithm and technology.

But there are clear instructions that Google as an institution and its engineers want the search engine to follow. We are talking about billions if not trillions of AI-powered instructions here. Beyond what the human mind can conceive.

Who is Google to answer the “Who is the Biggest liar in Ghana” question?

Google which is a search engine only aggregate and put together the best results on what its users are searching for and in a split second – give them results they think could be the right answer looking at several signals from the internet and online space.

In fact, all you have to do is set an agenda by posing a question and have people produce enough content around it to create a false positive.

Optimize it in search – that is what we call Search Engine Optimization and viola.

You’ve achieved your aim.

So apparently, if you’re unethical enough and know how to rank webpages online, you can find a query about “Who the biggest liar about ANYTHING” and put the name and image of:

  • Your Ex-girlfriend
  • The teacher you hate
  • A religion you hate
  • Your political opponent
  • Anybody you don’t like

And if nobody writes or produces similar content to dispute what you’ve done. You’ve succeeded. Not even Google’s CEO can do anything about it.

NB: Of course, a formal complaint can be lodged with evidence that there’s a clear agenda and defamation which will be investigated and if proven right prompt Google engineers to take down the result. That takes some time. whatever the enemy wants to do to you might have already been done.

What Google has to say about who is the biggest liar in Ghana in search results.

First, Google’s CEO never addressed this specific issue when its founders appeared at the US senate and judicial questioning. He was asked hundreds of questions in the 3+ hour one-on-one section mostly on Google’s intention to partner with China or penetrate the Chinese market.

I’m yet to hear where he addressed a certain Dr. Bawumia. I may be wrong because I’ve not had the time to watch the whole almost 4hr episode. However, just stating a general analysis he made on how the algorithm works aren’t evidenced enough. It’s a ploy to link the two scenarios.

Let’s look at what Pichai, the CEO said again on its algorithm, “Anytime you type in a keyword, as Google we have gone out and crawled and stored copies of billions of Websites pages in our index. And we take the keyword and match it against their pages and rank them based on over 200 signals – things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it.‘And based on that, at any given time, we try to rank and find the best search results for that query. And then evaluate it to the objective guideline. And that is how we make sure the process is working. This is working at scale, and we don’t manually intervene on any particular search result”

Yes, he explained the workings of the search engine and why they as an institution cannot manipulate the content being produced but not in a way to perceive they’re not capable of sanitizing the search results.

In fact, they do it every time. And that is why there are partial and core updates several times a year.

Can this result be changed?

Wisdom

Can the results be changed?

Good question.

Why not!

But it is not as easy.

You need expert SEOs with a solid content strategy backed by robust link-building tactics. But it is definitely doable.

I’m doing my part with this article. I hope this piece ranks to open your eyes to real lies.

It’s your turn.

Do yours not for Dr. Bawumia but for the sanity of the webspace and blogosphere.

  • It could be your family member tomorrow.
  • It could be someone you cherish so much.

What can you do?

  1. Stop cyberhate.
  2. Write factual things about people.
  3. Flag content you think is defamatory.

What can Dr. Bawumia do about this?

Very little at the moment.

In fact, he should focus on his core mandate – delivering to the Ghanaian people. Ghanaians will judge him on his tenure as Vice President not how he ranked on Google SERPs.

Continue doing a good job, Sir.

“Don’t waste your time trying to provide people with proof of deceit, in order to keep their love, win their love or salvage their respect for you. The truth is this: If they care they will go out of their way to learn the truth. If they don’t then they really don’t value you as a human being. The moment you have to sell people on who you are is the moment you let yourself believe that every good thing you have ever done or accomplished was invisible to the world. And, it is not!”

Shannon L. Alder

Tell the truth always otherwise your enemies can only be right.

However, his team can consult good SEOs around to create compelling content on his life and legacy. I believe he’s not done with politics yet and there’s more to come in the future.

Time will tell who he really is – whether he’s a liar or not. More so, whether he is the biggest liar in Ghana. Time will tell.

Let me know in the comment area what you think about search engine manipulations and agendas for selfish interest… I want to hear from you.
